The Owner

Better known as “Pauerman” on various 944 web forums, Vic has been working on cars since he has been able to hold a light for his Dad in the garage. After years of rebuilding and modifying VW’s, he made a transition and began working on his Federal Aviation Repairman Certificates with hopes of working on aircraft one day. After earning his Airframe & Powerplant licenses, he walked away with a very methodical approach to working on machinery. He gained experience in building/blueprinting piston and gas turbine engines, was given the opportunity to overhaul numerous aircraft piston engines to exact tolerances, learned techniques in zyglo/magnafluxing, valve seat and face grinding, engine balancing and assembly not to mention a host of other skills like welding, painting, and sheetmetal work all of which are just small parts of what makes up the licenses as a whole.

In short, after more than 13 years as an Aviation Technician, the very regimented and exacting procedures of the aviation world have made their way into Vic’s approach to working on cars and how he modifies them.

Vic’s desire for speed has led him to earn his pilot’s license where he regularly sees 150 mph. He is also an avid motorcyclist having both a sport bike and a few dirt bikes to satisfy his one wheel cravings :). He currently has more 951s than he needs!

With ANYTHING that goes fast, you’ve got to “Pay to Play.” Vic’s basis for Pauer Tuning is to make the “Pay” portion of this statement more reasonable for his fellow 944/951enthusiasts.

We are a grassroots company which firmly believes in a cost-effective approach to high performance modifications. Our goal is to offer the highest quality products at the most competitive prices.

We pride ourselves on customer service and happily assist fellow boost-addicted enthusiasts with a “fix;” but somehow, there doesn’t seem to be a cure . . .
